Job Description

The role is required to work along with the current management team. Must be able to communicate well, accept job delegation with an idea to improvise, and smoothen the internal department process flow. This role will eventually be groomed to handle multi-tasking from all aspects of the work requirement and to become a future leader in the organization.

Responsibilities

  1. Required to work with all internal department managers, to plan the work requirements for the operation department.
  2. To carry out specific operational and administration projects that will be assigned from time to time.
  3. Required to attend meetings and workshops and implement the action plan
  4. Able to handle all administrative task that is required for this role, such as updating the standard operating procedures in internal department
  5. To understand the current process flow and SOP, review for process improvements, and reduce wastage.
  6. Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service.
  7. Assess service statistics of all teams and prepare detailed performance reports on a weekly and monthly basis for management reporting
  8. Observe and ensure that the Operations Department maintains individual and group performance
  9. Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and merchants to ensure proper operations in the department.

Requirements

  1. Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/ Supply Chain or related field with a CGPA of 3.0 and above
  2. Analytical and able to work and communicate with people of all level
  3. Able to do presentation, conduct research, outspoken and charismatic with leadership potential
  4. High degree of initiatives with a positive attitude
  5. Proficient in Microsoft applications
  6. Attention to details and good time management
  7. Self-discipline with an organized character
  8. Good command of English with excellent written and verbal communication
  9. Interested to work and learn in the logistic industry

The working location will be at Sg. Ara, Bayan Lepas, Penang

Working days/hours :

Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm

Alternate Saturday from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm
